chinnkin: Welcome to our website. I asked Valari where she found it, and she told me that the person who posted the treea at Ancestry, removed it, after she(Valari) had looked at it, Luckily, she copied the information down, by hand. she is a descendant of the eli chin herself.

Apparently, there is a reason it was removed. FYI, anyone can put anything they want on ancestry.com. I could post that I am the King of England and no one would question. It is irresponsible to post so much info on this site with absolutely no documentation, nor references. You said you checked it out and it was valid. I am simply asking for your references which allowed you to state this this is valid. How, exactly, did you come to that conclusion if it has been removed? Magic?

I beg your pardon. I do have references for the Trees I have copied and posted on this website. As for Valari; I trust her honesty.she has sent genealogical information quite often in the past and I have been able to verify it for her.As for the Chinns, you don't have to accept the data.I have not posted a tree for the Chinns. All I did was post the info re. Eli's immediate family. You aren't the only descendant of the chinsn. I have worked with another three of his descendants in helping them with the Chinn family nd their descendants. I had been searching for Eli's relatives since 2005. people do things for a lot of reasons. it is not for me to speculate the whys and wherefores of people's actions.Suffice it to say, the person removed the tree with the informationby the time Valari returned to Ancestry to print out the tree. She said that it was one of the public trees posted at Ancestry.

You can't post stuff like this with NO REFERENCES!!! Valari didn't post this. You did.

Maybe I am not making this clear enough for you. YOU posted this info. YOU stated you checked this out at ancestry. (Even though it has been removed) YOU stated the info is valid. (Even though you have no references) How did you come to the conclusion that this info is valid. WHAT WERE YOUR REFERENCES FOR THAT STATEMENT? Gosh, it's not all that difficult! YOU said it was VALID!!! HOW??

I asked Valari if it was okay to post the information, and she said yes. I checked out Ancestry to find the tree she mentioned she had copied the info from, and the tree was not there. As I said before, Valari said she had run across the tree in her search for information on the Chinn family and descendants. She had the foresight to copy the information on Eli's parents and siblings. She forgot to copy down the user name, and the name of the tree. She said she went on with her search. A day or two later she returned to Ancestry and the person had removed the tree. having worked with Valri in the past, I accepted her explanation and the information as valid.
