Were any of these people born before, or after 1940. if after, then we can't help. do you have any vital dates for them, other than their name?

my mother gave me the names to look for. she said that she recived land from these people and she don't know who they are? the first two ladys have land in Charlismix county. track 346 and track 26 Can tet in za isnana had 460 acers of land. Celia Cefoud Arnold had 20 acres. as far as I know they where born before 1940. Noriss or Moriss LaCroix his land was in santee. I have never heard of the LaCroix name tell now. just trying to look up and track see how we are related to the people my mother got land from. I hope this helps thas all she was hiven for information.

Kermit: it would help us if you would have your mom trace her family backwards, and make up a chart. then send it to me by Email and I will go from there. Your other oiption is to contact NARA and get copies of their probates. I checked both ancestry and family Search(lDS Archives). No records for Norris or Morris la Croix in Nebraska.

ok Hermin this is where I found the LaCroix family tree. I went to your main page. I scrolled down to where I found other links to family trees. clicked on it. it took me to another page. I scrolled down to Indian trees posted here. clicked on it and it took me to another page. on top of the page it said Indian Archives / Records. I scrolled all the way down and clicked on page two. on this page I scrolled down tell I found Father Daniel Medlon family tree. scrolled down to number 4 where it said LaCroix family tree. I clicked on it and it would not let me see the page. I hope that helps? I still would like to look at the LaCroix family tree. thanks Hermin.

Kermit: Please for give my not getting back to you on this. You are referring to Father Daniel Madlon's trees.if mike uploaded it with the old uploader, it has since expired. I will see if I can find it for you. I am sorry, Kermit but the Father Madlon Trees that were up were uploaded to-and posted from-the old photo uploader and have long since expired.
