-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quickly, Simply, Poof, Gone.......Government land certificates given to Indians by UNited States government officials stating that no one but an act of congress can change. Some did have two year stipulations and some DID NOT. I ask what these peoples credentials were??To have taken these assignments away? And did their constitution give them a right to deal with land in Scott County?NO ....I will list the names of the Indians that were robbed and I believe they ARE all lineal descendants..I also know the people that are living on these land assignments today and most are NOT L.D.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...take our money from them...then simply kick them off the land that belongs to others while they wait for us to die...you know how mad I would be if one of these yahoos thought they could take my home away from me? It will catch up to them...but, these cowards won't "appreciate" the moment of truth...poor them. Does anyone know if the judge will now make a decision on the motion to quash or are they still going to argue it more?

This came from the other board - take for what it worth
shakopee filed. « Thread Started on Jan 9, 2007, 3:49pm »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I heard that shakopee filed today and they went after Dr. buttes credibility. I heard they hired a mdewakanton historian.
Who do you think shakopee will have speak for them at the 25th hearing.

Re: shakopee filed. « Reply #11 on Jan 9, 2007, 5:14pm »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just received more information from a source. I guess shakopee and P.I are expecting the Judge to deny their motion to quash and are preparing to appeal to a panel of 3 judges.
I guess they also expect after the 25th hearing the judge will make a ruling about 3-4 weeks later. If anyone could ask Erick about this or someone knows if this is how its going to work that would be helpful. « Last Edit: Jan 9, 2007, 5:16pm by edwinb »

people report from court hearing
This hearing in not about -governance of the communites -membership in communites -Indian gaming regulations
It is about -1886 lands and monies
Mr ONeill had five reasons to quash -no claim agains the tribe, the suit is against the US govt -recoginzed tribal sovereign immunity -interior dept and agents cant waive immunity only congress and the community can do that -court lacks jurisdiciton over internal tribal affairs -Indians can not sue Indians in federal court(I swear that is what I heard
