I apologize for not citing my references. Please contact me if you need to know the reference (s)for information and I will gladly send it(them)to you.
This tree has taken 4 years of searching, compiling information and obtaining confirming documentation.
Where I have provided the names of parents of spouses, I have tracked them back as far as I could and have the informationon their families,if you need to know this.
I have done this for the other trees I have compiled and posted on this website.

Additions/corrections:
Re. the Twin sons of James H. Rockwood,were born@ Dec.10,1848. The first twin Edwin P. died 17 May, 1854, Baraboo,WI.
Theodore Hamilton Rockwood,son of James M. Rockwood and Mary Agnes Young, died Nov. 29, 1951 Humboldt,County,CA.His WWII draft registration Record showed him living there a at the age of 61 yrs old.
Louisa Harriet rockwood, d/o Lou or Lee Roy Rockwood married Lowell Allerson.

Thelma Catherine Rockwood, d/o Theodore Hamilton Rockwood(s/oJames M. Rockwood and Mary Agnes Young) was married twice. One spouse was a a non-Indian and the other spouse was Lorenzo Hoffman.

re.Elmer Rockwood and Ida Turner:
Their twin daughters were born Dec.25,1923. Mary Winona died at age of @ 5 1/2 mos.of age.
Elizabeth Cekpawin Rockwood married Stanley Metcalf in 1846,Buffalo, SD. Elizabeth's second spouse was Adolphus Burns Day,whom she married in 1959 and they were divorced in 1971. Elmer and Ida also had a son Everett, born 1931 at Crow Creek, Buffalo, SD.
Ida Turner, w/o Elmer Henry Rockwood was the d/o Gregory Turner and Mardi?. After her divorce from Elmer,she married Andrew Harrison and had several children with him. she died in 1968 at Fort Thompson, Buffalo, SD.(addition:)

Florence Lovejoy,first spouse of Harry Raymond Rockwood was the daughter of Thomas Lovejoy and Kate Wapaha.
Lorinda Mary Mitchell(fourth wife of Charles Benjamin Rockwood), was daughter of John A, Mitchell and Cecelia Lucy Trudell. I apologize for the error. John A.Mitchell's parents were Charles Mitchell II.and Lillie LaCroix.
Cecelia Lucy Trudell was the d/o henry Trudell and Nancy Seward aka Lucy blue eyes. Nancy's parents were Hapanna(sister of iron Elk) and Samuel Seward (no information on him).
Hapanna's parents were Candeskamani,and Tatedutawin.
Henry Trudell's parents were Francois Trudell and Mary iciyapewin. mary's parents were Wamnbdisun Inyanka and Tatekoyakewin.
