this Report was made to the Commmmittee on Indian Affairs in 1888.it concerned the proposed amendments to a house Billthat was up for consideration. It mentions the Scouts from the sisseton and Wahpeton tribes who served with the Army of General Sibley during the Indian Outbreak, and other Generals during the civil war. it traces the history of what happened to the Dakota sioux ater the 1862 Outbreak, and ifyou look in the first paragraph on page 5 you will see how much the govt. made on the sale of the old reservation land in Minnesota, and Dakota, and what happened to it.
