It's kind of old, but my great grandmother was in a boarding school and I'm trying to find out what tribe she was. I'm already First Nations, but I kind of want to know my history. The patent numbers my family has in question were from Sisseton and were 1022 and 581. I guess that may mean I'm related to whomever got those patents. I want to know more. Our last name was Wasna, Walker or Rope.
